The winners of the 2026 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards were announced on July 24th at the San Diego Hilton Bayfront Hotel during Comic-Con. Named for acclaimed comics creator Will Eisner, the awards celebrated their 38th year of bringing attention to and highlighting the best publications and creators in comics and graphic novels.
This Place Kills Me, written by Mariko Tamaki and illustrated by Nicole Goux (Abrams Fanfare) won Best Publication for Teens. Tamaki was also name Best Writer.
